3 day training method for BOYS?

I used Lora Jensens 3 day potty training ebook and method for my daughter but now I'm getting ready to train my son and wanted to know if anyone had success with a strong willed boy on this method?

Re: 3 day training method for BOYS?

I have found absolutely no difference in the ease of training boys vs girls. I use the 1-Day method and it has been equally successful/difficult for my girls as my boys. I know people says boys are harder, but I have no idea why they think that. I train my kiddos on the toilet right from the start, and to pee sitting down no matter the gender (standing up for boys comes around age 4). And my strong willed kiddos were just as easy/difficult to train as the laid back ones. The easiest by far was my youngest, because his next closest big sister decided she was sick of folding his clean cloth diapers and wanted him trained asap. So she basically trained him .

I'm right there with you and curious to hear more from others with strong willed boys on this method!

Re: 3 day training method for BOYS?

From my experience in daycare, and with my own children, neither sex is more difficult to train. Boys tend to train later, but they do not necessarily take longer. I do not know the 3 day method you are speaking of, but all of my kids basically trained in a week.

Re: 3 day training method for BOYS?

My experience with the 1 day method was it didn't work. Not for my daughter. Didn't even try for my boys. I pretty much let my older son set the pace. My younger son was more difficult. He didn't potty train until nearly 4. And then it was only when he was ready. He is still night diapers at 5 1/2.
