Re: Happy Homemakers -- January 2013

-Put away clean dishes
-Washed dishes
-Spot scrubbed some areas on the kitchen floor
-Picked up toys in Pi's room - including sorting all his train stuff
-Vacuumed upstairs
-Had DH hook up furniture straps and set up Pixie's toy kitchen
-Wool wash soaking

Pi is really sick and his room was a MESS. I had to pull out toys and the goldfish crackers he snuck in there all out from under his bed. His fever broke a little bit ago though and he is enjoying the clean, so that's a bonus.

My Mood:
I'm so exhausted! We didn't finish until 3 this morning and dh has to leave for work at 7. He just started this job this month so he didn't want to ask for time off.

We have so much more to do and not everything is even out of the apartment yet. I can't go move things while dh is working because the refrigerator will be delivered somewhere between 1 and 5. Can't unpack our clothes because our new bedroom furniture won't be here till tomorrow...

Guess I have to stay in bed and sleep all day. No choice! Now someone tell DS that.

Re: Happy Homemakers -- January 2013

I want to join in. I will just list what I need to do. My dryer broke last night so hubby took it apart and is replacing something that was bad. I will be so happy if it works when he is done and I can start on laundry. I am backed up and have a ton of loads to wash. Anyways:
  • Put DS toys away
  • Clean living room floor
  • Clean off couches and end tables
  • collect all the dirty clothes
  • Sweep
  • Mop
  • Clean the kids bathroom
  • straighten up the kids room
  • Wash dishes
  • Wipe off counters
  • Sweep and mop kitchen
  • vacuum my room and kids room

That should be it for today.

Dragging again today...

*mailed a check
*folded 1 load while watching Netflix . Put them away
*diapers in wash
*sorted through things I cleaned out of the kids room last week. Have a box for donation, one to sell, a bag to go back in their room, and a bag of things that need to be put away throughout the house

Now to motivate myself to fold the other 3 or 4 loads in waiting and to put the things away that I just sorted. Ugh. I think I'll clean my bathroom first. I also need to clean the kitchen.
