Exclamation HUGE GIGANTIC RAVE FOR RIT COLOR REMOVER!!!!

Thank you SO MUCH mannna00 for telling me about this stuff! It took ALL the red out of my diapers I took the color out of the fabric on my wipes, which I could care less about, but all the colors on my diapers are fine and all my inserts are white again! PHEW!!!! The wipes I had with red fleece backing are now orange and the wipes with brown backing are now yellow But, like I said, I was much more concerned with the diapers!

I was crying last night, I was so afraid they'd be ruined! I soaked them all night in cold water, then went to Wal-Mart first thing this morning and got some RIT color remover. That stuff is AWESOME!!!

Bummer though- All my diapers were in the wash accept for the diaper Noah was sleeping in, so he has to be in sposies today until they are all clean and dry Oh well.

THANK YOU AGAIN to the mama that sent me a PM last night! YOU are a lifesaver and everyone should have a few boxes of this stiff on hand if you have colored diapers!!

Hmmm, I have some accidently colored inserts (not even pretty colors either) maybe I'll try that!!! SO glad it worked on your diapers!

I had a box of that in my kitchen drawers, after reading this I went and tried it on a dipe I had totally goofed up on when dyeing it, it was an ugly orange/gray color and still bled when washed, and WOW does it ever work good! Thanks for posting this, and so happy your dipes are saved!

Re: HUGE GIGANTIC RAVE FOR RIT COLOR REMOVER!!!!

It's awesome. I had just gotten a delivery of brand new Swaddlebees Simplex 2.0's. 6 had white stretchy tabs, but there was one monkey pattern with brown stretchy tags. So, as directed, I prewashed the monkey by itself before doing my second prep wash/dry. Well...the brown tabs bled all over all seven brand new diapers, turning the PUL and the insides pinkish tan! Washing the white tabbed ones a second time actually made the color look even worse! Two boxes of Rit color remover in the pot with my dipes, a couple more washes with Nellie's in the machine, and a few hours in the sun and they are saved!

Sweet! I'm going to UN dye my 3 dozen preemie prefolds. The colors turned out awful and I hated them. They've been sitting in touched for 2 years and I would really like to move them out the door.
