I over the ones on www.organicgrace.com. I think that's up closer to you, but might still be far. They have a showroom in Garberville.

We have good friends in Redding, so we would ideally make a little trip up there to visit & then pick out our stuff at the store.

Re: What would be your 1 big splurge?

We have organic sheets and pillow cases. I found them at Walmart a few years ago on sale, I bought 2 sets.

The floating bed is healthy too... It stimulates the blood and lymph system, so it's cleansing while you sleep. A good reason why we got the Amby (baby hammock) for this LO.

Re: What would be your 1 big splurge?

I showed DH baby hammocks and the hanging adult bed/floating bed, and he thought they were sooo neat and we need one... except they are way too expensive, and there's no way we could hang a bed to support both our weight. Lol... and... I wonder how difficult(or fun?) it makes bedroom activities... if you know what I mean! LOL

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with one. I have been feeling like a terrible parent still planning on using it when they were recalled but we have the thing they sent out with it after the recall. Honestly the baby will be so close to me I am not too concerned.

I will probably avoid posting pics of baby in it to avoid flack about it.

Some hotels have them. One in vegas and one in near disney land so they can get tried out.

0.00083333 percent of death (or smaller I think there may be another 0). 2 infants died out of 24000 sold. AND they were shown to be because of improper use. Amby was voluntarily recalled only in US, it's still being made and sold in other countries. So ya.... I'm not too concerned either
