Re: has aneyone picked out/bought carseats yet??

We have a bucket Graco that we used for DS and DD so will probably just use that but, I would LOVE a Peg Perego!

This is what we're getting

Attachment 73915

Buckets are just too hard on my back, I can hardly lift an empty one without hurting myself much less adding 8lbs in it.

We have this seat http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re.../dp/B0012W02OE
From DS that is in great condition. We will use it for the first year or until weight limit is outgrown.

After that we will likely get another graco my ride 65 or britax 70. Those are what we have now for DS, but we may need to find 2 narrow seats that will work better in our car at that point. I'm not worrying about that yet though

(im not juging here. im really intersted in how u do this) every time i try when there that lil i wake them up
I wear my babies. So even if they are woken up from being removed from the seat, they fall right back to sleep once they are tucked in close to me

We have the chicco key fit 30 that we had with DS. It is in great condition so well use it for the first year or so. I wore DS a lot, but liked being able to easily transfer him from the car to house without waking him in the bucket. We switched DS to his britax at 8 months, we'll probably do the same with this baby and get another britax. Or move DS up if we need to and put the baby in his old one.

I wish that worked with DS. He was a horrible napper. It is only in the last couple months he is finally napping more than 30 minutes. And if he was woken earlier, that was it-nap over! In the early days we were lucky to get 15 out of him, so if I was lucky enough for him to fall asleep in the car, it was important for my sanity that I be able to carry him in the infant seat to make the most of those few precious moments of sleep to do things like pee, or maybe unload the car. I'm really, desperately hoping #2 is an easier sleeper than DS!

We will most likely use a graco bucket for the first couple months then switch to a convertible. I just got 2 Evenflo Triumph 65. I could still easily fit my almost 4 years old in one, so I might be doing the car seat shuffle soon, since I just got him Maestro as travel seat but it doesn't seem too comfy. If I get a roundabout next week for cheap I will definitely be mixing up what we have in the mix.

What do you drive that you have your radian in? I have two in the main car I drive ( honda accord) and go back and forth if I want to put one in DHs vehicle ( expedition).

Re: has aneyone picked out/bought carseats yet??

My aunt surprised me with a new carseat/stroller combo so we'll use that at first. Already on the lookout for a seat to replace that however since I know it isn't very long till he'll outgrow that seat. My oldest is in just a seatbelt and my youngest is in a nautilus that will last him through the booster seat stage as well but will be too old to use for my youngest when he's old enough and big enough to swap to a ff seat.
