Laundry Soap Reviews?

I'm wanting to stop using tide, but the few things I've tried before just didn't get stuff clean enough.

I'm open to diy or whatever. So what soap do you love and why?

I am trying to find something that works that is greener as well. One of my twins has very sensitive skin and does not do well with mainstream detergent. I hate ECOS, they still smell after washing and then started to repeal some. I have really liked Ecover and I need to get some more but I have to buy it online.

Norwex! I've been using it for years and LOVE it. I was also a Tide girl before.

Re: Laundry Soap Reviews?

It's funny, I just spontaneously reviewed Grab Green Stoneworks in the latest Frontier co-op. I love it so much.

A caveat though, there haven't been diapers to wash for many years now, and I don't wash napkins or other kitchen cloth with Stoneworks for two reasons:
1. Stoneworks is expensive 2. It's well scented

For other laundry I use a combination of Econuts and Oxyclean.

Back when there were diapers to wash, and I used mostly prefolds and fitteds, I used Charlie's soap powder. I bought a 5 gallon drum of it and it lasted years and years and years - like 5 years. I really liked Charlie's and I could still use it but I'm really into scents now that I don't have to worry about sensitive skin - mine while I was nursing, and my children's when they were babies. We're all tougher now. Plus the other awesome thing about buying that drum of Charlie's is I never had to worry about running out, which at the time was a life saver.

This looks like the bucket I had, but mine was a bucket of powder

I buy my products from Frontier, but you can get any of these from Amazon, or Charlie's directly from Charlies.
I run the Frontier Wholesale co-op in February, May, August & November
