very nice, but i think i would prefer all natural no ink fabrics when they will be inserted inside me. your body will absorb all sorts of things.

Re: FloCatcher reusable cloth tampons i made today!:)

Okay, I am a little intrigued by this idea. Now, I haven't used tampons since after my first VBAC, and my mother had problems with them after birth. She also had a friend who got TSS, so I was weary of ever using the super ones. I have seen the Diva Cup, or maybe it is called something else, but it is plastic and is like a tampon, but catches AF, and you just dump in the toilet or favorite plant. I used to think that it was a little gross for me, but no worse than cloth pads. Which I have also used, but it was several years ago. Now, we are back into cloth diapers, and my 12yo DD uses cloth panti-liners, although she hasn't started yet. She just likes very clean undies.

I need to get some cloth pads made for me, as I use paper pantiliners, and will need PP pads in about 6 weeks.

I have NEVER heard of cloth reusable tampons. I know they would be safer than the store kind. They scare me now, with the TSS thing and all. I don't know if I could even use them. I checked out your store, and it seems there is only one size.

So, how do they work? Isn't there a different size issue with a person pre-children, versus post-children? What about different flow days? And, I remember that it was uncomfortable to even insert the slick plastic and cardboard thingies when on lighter days when I was a teenager. Or it would feel dry and hurt a little if they weren't just right. So, how does one use a cloth tampon, that I would assume is dry on the outside (and certainly not slick for comfort)? You can't and would not want to use any lubricant, I imagine. Or do you lightly wet the outside before insertion?

Sorry if it sounds dumb, but I didn't think that cloth tampons would even be possible. Kymberli
