Re: What's on the bum?

Absolutely nothing at the moment! It was a tots bots fitted and a disana soaker for overnight - we uAually use flats but I can't find my snappis (???) Which I just used 2 nights ago.

DS had no accidents yesterday, but one already this morning. It startled him pretty good this morning, so I'm hoping he learned some from it. We've been doing really well away from home because I watch him.much better away from home. At home, I've been getting lazy and hoping he'll initiate more, but I should probably cut that out and just take him every couple of hours or so.

Re: What's on the bum?

DD took off her nighttime trainer of a Purple Flip trainer with a gDiaper disposable insert about 3 hours ago.

Here 2 posts on different padfolding ideas here and here.

Re: What's on the bum?

Wow we're a pretty boring group for an OTB thread, considering this is DS! No diapers here either, and the 3 night time ones are currently doing disposables here also. The 5 yo will be back in Motherease bed wetter pants as soon as baby is born and I have diaper laundry to wash. As long as I'm washing daily I should be able to get my 2 yo back in cloth at night too, which I would love to do. Might try a snap-EZ for the 7 yo before giving up completely, but the BG Bigger was a complete failure so I'm not confident there.

I had a tough road keeping DS dry at night because he would often sleep on his side (he was in big boy night trainers from about 3y to 5.5y), SO many trainers have the stretchy tab sides and would cause leaking. We solved that in the Snap EZ by putting an insert (in our case a grovia cotton doubler - so not super absorabant) across the back of the diaper so the ends poked into the space on the sides. That helped ALOT. Later we moved up to the Super undies nighttime and didn't have the side issue with them.

Good Luck!

That's a good tip--7 yo couldn't stand the itchiness of the stretch side tabs on another one, I think Antsy Pants. I'd be getting the other SnapEZ style though, the big sizes like their adult versions. She needs LOTS of absorbency but also she has a really big rear. Super undies never worked for her when she was little, nor my older DS but they did fine for DD2 who doesn't wet as often or heavy.

Re: What's on the bum?

My 6yo hasn't had a night diaper on for about a year but lately the night wetting has got worse so I'm going to resort to a diaper very shortly :-(

I've been considering diapers for a week or 2 but he wants nothing to do with the idea so I'm not sure how it will go but I've got couple of flats ready ;-)

Re: What's on the bum?

I'm super boring for threads like this, I really like a streamlined stash so I take one diaper off and put the same kind on again. Right now it's flats and fitted wraps under wool, Simplex on outings, everything else is put away. Makes it easy for me but not very exciting!

I love flats, I just hope my 6yo will keep still when I put one on shortly ;-)
