Re: How about this sippy cup for a 5mo EBF baby?

Have you tried just a regular little tiny cup? I have not had the best luck with 3 of our 4 taking a cup or bottle. We used a little medicine cup and cup fed. Our littlest baby really only liked Safe Sippy for the longest time. The spout is firm but round like a straw so their mouth sits more like it would to nurse. Hope you get your job

We have had super good luck with this sippy cup. My dd stopped taking bottles at 6 mo. I tried everything. She finally started taking pumped breastmilk out of this sippy for the sitter and does great with it. The flow is pretty fast once she figured out how to suck on it. She gets 5 ounces down in less than 5 minutes. I know how frustrating it is! I've been there. Hang in there.

We used a doidy cup when my ds was littler, I didn't think it was necessary- he made a mess with it- he actually did better whith a regular cup. They are more for toddler stage, IMO.

For baby stage, we use this cup:

which from about 4-5 months, my kids have quickly adapted to. We also use straw cups with success.

This is the one we used. DD just chewed on it for fun, then she realized there was milk in there.

We tried every sippy cup on the market I think . We finally had good luck with a NUK silicone spout.

We used a soft spout Nuby and the cheapie soft spout ones from Walgreens. DS took to both easily and did great.
