Re: Baby Chatter September 25th

i am with you ladies on being tired! I am so tired!!! I still dont feel pregnant much besides this obsurd amount of gas Iam getting! my tummy hurts from it!!! i go for a consult on wednesday to see if the midwives are accepting me! but honestly I have so much anxiety about wondering if the baby is alive or not. only because i feel so different(ok good is a better word) and we didnt know our other baby had passed until 5 weeks later! im sure its fine.

i have to go to the clinic while ds is in kindergarden to get more asthma meds but other then that I plan on not doing much!

that sucks your dd has a cold and was up so much! but thankfully dh is home to help you!!!

Already there! The only non-pregnant pants that still fit me are sweats, so I've been wearing my 'now & after' capris for weeks, and in the last 2 weeks started wearing "real" maternity pants with the panel folded down... I've got a pair of dress pants for work and a pair of jeans now. And I bought 2 new maternity shirts (actually 4 since I bought 2 tshirts with funny sayings on them from walmart)... I should dig out my other maternity shirts... they make me feel more pregnant than fat and soooo comfy. I'm really popping a LOT faster than last time...... I'm wondering if it's twins

Have a wonderful day, ladies!

Oh, and Michelle, I'm so with you about DS being the best online community out there. to you all!
for confirming...

And totally with you girls about DS being the best community.. even my Life After Miscarriage community seems to have taken a dive since I remember it from when I TTC and was pregnant with DD. I tried to go back when we were TTC this one, and it was just sooo slow. Nobody was posting!

for first appointment! Good to know you are still pregnant! I took a HPT test yesterday and told dh, "Yep, still pregnant!"
I did that the other night too.... even showed DH who rolled his eyes.

I'm starting to get a feeling that this is twins... seriously! Even DH mentioned that my ms is a lot worse than he remembers it being with DD.... makes me think "hmmm maybe something is up"...

Haha yeah that was it. I wanted to give them a chill pill too! Plus they changed the format since I had DD and it's really hard to navigate! Oh well, at least I have my DS ladies!

AFM: I had a great workout this morning. It's so hard not to tell everyone. The girl that was teaching today is pg also, and due a week after me. Everyone's known about her pregnancy for the past week, and it's so hard for me not to tell! She prolly thinks I'm a little odd because I keep asking her all these things, but I'm just trying to figure out if she's found out a way to speed up the process or not, without telling her I'm pg...lol. In October once we've told our families I'll bring DD to class in her Big Sister shirt, so I just keep thinking about how much fun that's going to be! Lol.

This afternoon I have a Shaklee meeting across town which is exciting. Other than that DD is asleep and I should be getting ready for the meeting, and not wasting my time on here! Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey Michelle, did you get my PM response to your Mary Kay question?

What workout do you do? I got a phonecall from Curves asking what I want to do since I had my trial week and haven't been back

Re: Baby Chatter September 25th

I just put Baxter down for his first nap. I'm really hoping to keep two naps a day, at LEAST until the first trimester is over! I need that time. We usually have a playgroup of other CD mamas on friday mornings, but it's from 10-12, exactly nap time. Recently he's super fussy when he skips naps (molars, ugh) so we haven't gone in a few weeks.

I just scheduled family pics with my DH's family for 10/25 - I'm hoping I can either cover the bump or really look pregnant by then. LOL. We were supposed to do it last spring, but FIL had weight loss surgery so he wanted to do it after he lost his weight. So now we're doing it when I look fat, yay. Luckily I'll probably be holding DS most of the time

Anyone else feel like a hobbit? Breakfast, second breakfast, elevensies, lunch, supper, tea..... off to go eat some more.

Re: Baby Chatter September 25th

Eating eating eating. All the time trying to eat between the waves of nausea. My DD seems to be getting her 2-yr molars early and wants to nurse more, and I'm 6' tall to begin with, so my daily caloric needs are ridiculous.

My midwife had me fill out a weeklong food diary for our first appointment, as part of her holistic outlook, and at the top it asks for any special dietary considerations. She was thinking "vegetarian" or "allergic to". I wrote "VERY HUNGRY" on it.

I'm 3 lbs up from conception weight. Hoping to gain only 20 lbs, as I'm starting from 10lbs up from my target weight of 165. We'll see.

We have lots of animal fun going on - we are dogsitting for my parents' lab mix for the next ten days. That'll be great because my DD loves her, but I will have to get up 30 minutes earlier in the morning to do my share of caring for her. More exciting/scary my SIL (who lives downstairs) brought home a foundling kitten off the street a week ago, and she's had some kind of intractable diarrhea. They had their second vet visit last night, because all the normal dewormer didn't work. Now she's on antibiotics, probiotics, and a stronger dewormer. She's super cute and friendly, and it's sad to have to keep my toddler away from her but unexplained diarrhea is not our friend. Probably better for the kitten to have a real chance to settle in, anyhow. My DD knows the signs for baby and cat, and when we talked to her about the new little kitten, she put the signs together and asks to go see her all the time...very cute!

Last night was our "intake" visit with the midwife. It was 2 hours long and very chatty and comfortable. She's the kind of women you hug and kiss goodbye. While her home office is being renovated, she's seeing patients in a yoga center, in a room normally used for reiki and other healing. Well, the overhead lights broke yesterday afternoon, so we conducted our visit in dim yoga mood lighting from all these soft warm funky lamps, sitting on throw pillows on the floor. It was actually really lovely, except for watching her squint when she needed to write notes in our chart!

you are too cute!

I am feeling so tired today. I haven't been sleeping well I constantly wake up to every sound, or I have dreams that wake me up. Aside from that I took Jude to an awesome playgroup this morning and he had fun, so I plan on going more in the future to socialize him more. He has developed a habit of hitting that I don't like. I do take him and tell him no but he's 10months and when someone else takes his toy or is in his way he hits and I'm not sure what else to do at this point.

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, and so excited halfway through to that 12 week mark whoo hoo. I've noticed my belly is already so sensitive. Where I work there is lots of bending and moving and by the end of my shift last night I was stiff and TIRED lol.

Hope you all have a good day and weekend

Re: Baby Chatter September 25th

Hi girls

I haven't been wanting to eat at all. THe thought of food makes me want to run hug my porcelain friend. Blegh. Sadly regular soda is the only thing that calms my stomach and I don't like soda.

I'm VERY out of breath! I have never had this problem before! I can't walk 5 feet withouth huffing and puffing! And I'm not out of shape, I use to workout 7 days a week intensely (until this breathing issue kicked in). Now I get out of breath just unloading the dishwasher! I want to workout again but I'm afraid I won't be able to catch my breath This stinks.

Re: Baby Chatter September 25th

Im am TIRED! oy, I cant seem to break this constant exausted feeling. I got 7 hrs of sleep last night, and felt like i got 2.
It took me a while to get going this morning, but i went for a nice workout with my sister this morning. We rode our bikes w/ our toddler seats attached for a good hour and a half. The hills around here give us a great work out. Now i need to shower, get some laundry in the washer, and go grocery shoppin!
