If your walmart put.........

All 9f their malbu(or however it is spelled) on sale for $2.50 for the covers and $1 for the inserts would you buy them or are they not even worth it at that price? I ask because dd really needs new dipes but we just can't afford much so they seem like a great deal but they feel kind of weird almost plastic like but maybe it is because they weren't washed? I have no experience with these.

Re: If your walmart put.........

I believe they have a nylon and/or fabric outer shell, and a nylon liner that snaps in. They worked decent. The aplix leaves something to be desired, but they would be converted to snaps if need be.

ETA: Ok, found it! The shell is polyester lined with a poly/bamboo charcoal blend.

Re: If your walmart put.........

They are not nearly as good as Flips. I had 6 of them at one point, but they weren't absorbent or waterproof enough for my DD. I would grab a couple probably if I needed some emergency dipes. They are a good option to keep in the diaper bag if you need to run out and don't have anything clean yet. But they aren't good for real regular or over night use.

I don't know anything about Walmart diapers, but my opinion is its better to have less of something and have it be quality than to have a bunch of junky stuff. I would save the money and buy one or two nice covers and some flats or something, rather than buying more of the Walmart cheapest. Just my

Re: If your walmart put.........

I'd spend $5 on Econobum seconds covers instead, and use flats for inserts.

Re: If your walmart put.........

The diapers wear fast...
I HATE the inserts all nice at first but they shrink weird and jsut look awful fast.. The covers I like better but the veclro part wears out really fast.. I'd rather spend a bit more and get diapers that will last.
