Well...AIOs are super easy but usually more expensive. And, usually blowouts are better contained by fitteds because the cover acts as a second barrier to keep it all in..with an AIO if you blowout of the diaper, that's it, since it is self contained. AIOs also don't last quite as long u less you line dry and covers can be used through multiple changes before they need swapped out because they get too saturated with a really wet diaper or got poo on them, so they last longer for that reason, plus I often throw my covers in with a regular clothes wash so they don't get as much wear and year from the lengthy diaper loads. So fitteds would work well for that purpose as well in terms of durability. Personally I have some of each. I like AIOs for rapid diaper changes and convenience and they really are cute lol. But the bulk of my stash is fitteds.
