My Mood:
Mo-di ID twins and a vaginal delivery

Now I'm starting to get freaked out. This is my 3rd set of twins. My first 2 were frats and I had uncomplicated vaginal deliveries with both. I have every intention of having a 3rd vaginal delivery. (Of course, having had 2 previous sets of twins, I do know complications come up and it can change in an instance.)

But, the big thing is, this set is different. It appears that they are mo-di identical twins. Meaning, they are in the same chorion and share a placenta but are in different amnionic sacs. I'm suddenly wondering, with them being in the same chorion and closer, is it less likely they can get in a good position to be born vaginally?? As long as baby A is head down, I'm good to go. But, will Baby A be able to move around as much to get that way?

I know there are a few ID moms around here. Please reassure me that my chances of a vaginal delivery with this type of twins is just as good as with frats assuming there is no TTTS or other complication going on. I'm thinking this is irrational, but I'm so shocked that I'm having ID twins since we did IVF and expected frats. I'm starting to freak out a little. I feel like I'm pushing my luck. Help!
