Need to change system, not sure which way to go

What to do, what to do?

Okay, for 3 babies we used a very basic system and were super, super happy. We did DSQs in BSWW snaps for daytime and FB with a DSQ stuffer for bedtime. For 3 kids, the system worked terrific and we were both happy.

This system will not work for the current LO. Her legs are too chunky and she pops the BSWW off within an hour just by her movement. Dh likes simple and convenient. He has a dozen pockets, and he'll use those if I have them already ready to go. He won't touch the DSQs, pins and wool. He knows *how* he just wants something less time consuming. And, if I don't have conveneint for him, then out comes the hidden sposie stash and on her bum they go.

So, what do I do? I've considered changing in a couple of ways:
  1. switch to all pockets
  2. buy fitteds
  3. Buy side snapping covers like Berry Plush which will allow us to return to a system similiar to what worked but better for her body shape

I've been kicking all the options around and I just *cannot* decide which I like. I LOVE my wool. Dh likes the wool, but not the diapers he's expected to put *under* the wool. He likes to swipe her BBH that are nighttime only diapers and let her wear them during the day so he can use the wool. But, I don't want to spend a fortune to make this work well for him again. Pros, cons, opinions? Anyone?

of the options you listed i think grab some fitteds - i say this just b/c i dont think most side snapping covers hold a pf tight enough without a closure on a moving baby and with some fitteds for him you are both still happy with your woolies - if you need covers for under clothes have you tried dappi pull ons?

Well, I have 2 Berry Plush and after she uses the liner that comes with it, we use them as a cover, and I know those work terrific for her. But, I can't see putting those under the woolies. in the summertime...so again, still can't make up my mind.

I *have* considered making fitteds. But, today I was just thinking I could buy a few more Berry Plush for winter and wear them under longies and figure out what I want to do in the summer--give up the woolies or invest in fitteds later.

What about snappis instead of pins.

My DH is perfectly competent with a snappi. He'd rather use a pocket, but he will snappi.
