Doll cloth diaper question

A family friend is mentally challenged and carries around a infant seat with two baby dolls in it. She changes her babies' clothes and diapers and uses real disposables. I have given baby clothes to this person, size 3-6 months her mom said the dolls fit in, for her babies and was wondering if I could give her cloth baby doll diapers to cut down on expense for the family.

Does anyone have any idea what size cloth doll diapers would fit a doll that wears 3-6 month sized clothing or is there some generic type of baby doll diaper that would fit them?

ETA: I gave away all my newborn cd stash months ago so giving her those isn't an option.

I wish I knew an answer for you.
What size disposables do the dolls wear now? Or how tall are the dolls? That's how most doll clothes are measured. Like are they 12", 15", or 18"?
That will narrow it down.

Could you find some FFS or otherwise cheap used cloth diapers in newborn or small size? I'm guessing it wouldn't matter if the elastic or PUL was shot, if you found something like that. These are in better condition than necessary, but it's an option: http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/....php?t=1626526 .

Are they the wetting type dolls? Size will make a big difference. If they wear 3-6 month clothes newborn diapers may be too tight. It seems like dolls usually have very little rise, and are wide. What about some newborn prefolds and Velcro covers? Or if they dolls aren't the ones that pee you could just do covers.

We use newborn size. Not sure the actual size of this doll though. IF it is just to have a diaper then a newborn would be perfect even if tight. If it is one that "pees" then you will want something that fits perfect. I would make sure that they understand not to throw them away though.

I have a couple bg 4.0s I'd let you have FFS if it isn't a wetting doll. The pul on these is a bit cracked at the bum, so I don't know how much wet they'd hold.

Not that I'm aware. They appear to be just any older style doll with the fabric body and plastic extremities.

Re: Doll cloth diaper question

I have no idea but wish I did. I don't want to show too much interest in her dolls because I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable like I'm fixating on whatever mental handicap she has that makes her want to carry about the dolls all the time.

If I can't figure anything out I think I may end up just asking her Mother if she/they would be interested in cloth diapers and if so I'll go from there about size.
