Struggling with ADHD

My 7 year old ds has Adhd with mood disorder, though I think hes developed ODD! However, that aside, he does extremely well on Intuniv as well. The stimulants always exacerbated the problems with yelling/defiance/etc. We tried Vyvanse, concerta, and focalim before getting it right!

I completely understand! After years of resistance, our son is doing so much better in school now that he is on Focalin XR. He has a higher self-esteem, is doing his school work, not getting in trouble as much and is starting to make friends. He has a more positive outlook on his life now. We also are continuing behavioral therapy to help him learn ways to cope. I highly recommend combined therapy! She has given us and his teachers great ideas on how to help him.
