I usually tri fold prefolds in a cover instead of pinning/snapping because I do not like removing a fastened prefold that is full saturated. With tri folding I just grab a corner and throw

With the workhorses and I going to have to unsnap a fully saturated diaper if I have a heavy wetter? I am not sure how the small soaker area would be enough unless I used a doubler every.single.time.

I mean unless it's a night diaper as long as I'm changing regularly during the day it's never fully saturated. It would have had to have been on for quite a while in order for it to be that wet all the way up to the snaps.

My dd is only 14 months and can fully saturate a Imagine medium prefold in less then 2 hours and the larges are WAY too big since she is only 20 pounds... But she still nurses a TON though - so maybe that would make a difference?

You could get the ones without snaps? Or is that an option?

Oh okay then with a really heavy wetter then yes it might be wet. I don't have a problem touching it though so I never really took too much notice. Maybe if you use a wipe to unsnap so you don't actually have to touch it?
