Almost all the pics are GMD infant size prefolds (green edge), there's one or two of the Gerber prefolds. I figured I may as well get some kind of use out of them, and they actually work pretty well as prefitteds.

Oh mama, Thank You!Thank You!Thank You! I have been trying and trying every free pattern out there for fitteds and prefolds and I just couldn't get it right. I saw this earlier today and I just finished one w/ an old Gerber. It's perfect, I can't wait for DD to get up tomorrow so I can get it on her. If the fit is good I'll be converting all my PF's. Oh yeah, way to go. Thanks for your late night sewing thoughts.

Thank you SO much for posting this. I tried it and my first attempt turned out great! After a couple small adjustments it should be perfect for my little one. Thanks again!

Re: A new way to prefitted - no serger required tutorial

I have a question...I tried this and although I haven't tried it on him yet, I had a bit of a problem...

See, to get the fabric to actually bunch around the legs, I had to totally stretch out the elastic since the fabric is so thick. But then, you can't stretch it anymore so it wouldn't fit but one size leg. Anybody have that problem? I ended up doing the elastic looser, but now I think it's not bunched enough to actually hold anything. Hm.
