I gained again! I even made sure to eat so right yesterday. It is only a pound, but I was finally 2 down and gained them both back. Hopefully it is water.

Welcome!

I'm back at school, had a small healthy breakfast. Not sure about lunch since the school has a welcome back luncheon planned but at least our old admin was very health concious, hope the new guys are. And then for dinner I think we're having beef and quinoa soup. Not really soup weather, but I made two huge stock pots of broth yesterday and bottled it (pressure canned) because I need beef broth for a recipe I like to do. But it has to be gluten free for dh and most commercial broth has gluten in the flavorings. So I canned 14 pints of broth last night. I stripped some of the meat off to make soup today and the rest became dog food since I forgot to buy them food and the store I get it from was closed. So they got half kibble and half carrots and beef (mainly beef). Anyway, hoping for a good day today.

I gained 2 lbs back - ugh! I ate really healthy yesterday too. Wonder if the birtday day got back at me. Hopefully it will go away fast!

It may be sodium or water, I can gain two lbs easy just from not drinking enough, it's like my body holds onto it. And so much for my well planned day. Went to my first meeting this morning and there were donuts. I usually resist. I was sitting right by where they put them. I resisted through the whole 2 1/2 hour meeting then at the end a bismark caught my eye and I ate vowing to eat healthy at lunch. Just found out what they are ordering us for lunch, chineese. My new admin is NOT health concieous like our old one was. Oh, well, tomorrow will be a new day.

I hope so!! I just hit 165 to go right back up. I am so ready to be thin again! I had a veggie sandwich for lunch - bad girl eating bread, but it was the first thing I had eaten all day. It cost me 10 points but I have 29 more for the day.

I would not have resisted donuts either. Nor crab rangoons.

Short-Term Goal: I'd like to lose 10% of my start weight, which would be 36lbs.
Long-Term Goal: I'd love to be 190 again my lowest "adult" weight (in highschool), 140-150 is what I should be for my height. But I want to be lighter and healthier but don't feel like I have to be the charts version of "skinny" to feel good about myself.
Weight Lost to Date: -19lbs
Weight Loss Plan: Trying to eat better/whole foods and slowly doing more activity.


Been trying to lose weight since January of this year (well actually about my whole life). But since January I've been on and off again. I'm happy that I've at least not gained all of what I lost back, which is usually what happens to me. I have my husband along with me on this journey, starting back up again today. I wan to be really serious this time and lose for good.

Someone was asking about online tools, I really like Sparkpeople.com it's a free site with a really great community and tools.

How's everyone's day looking? I don't have a lot planned but I did bring healthy snacks with me to work today (yogurt and an apple). I didn't bring lunch because we usually go out. So I guess I'll see how this day goes. I'm up two pounds today, but I"m not suprised. With all the sodium I ate yesterday at lunch I was expecting more.

I am down 1 lb today. I cannot decide what to have for lunch, although I know veggies will be with it. Maybe some fruit too. Enjoying coffee right now - yummmmmmmm!

I'm sitting stead at 211. I have been for almost three weeks now, aside from that water gain last week. I've been working out and not losing, but I can see a difference in tone in my arms and my tummy is a bit flabbier LOL. I'm fine with it. Today for breakfast was 3 scrambled eggs. Lunch was a coconut milk, pineapple and blackberry smoothie and I think dinner I am thinking pork chops & green beans or Thai chicken satay and salad-- if I feel like grilling. I always grill an extra roast for the next day when I light the grill, so that would make my day easier tomorrow.
