Otherwise, i tell him two things, he does them fast, then goes off and does his own thing.

*lol* this doesnt work for my DH ....he can look around at a total mess and see nothing wrong with it so wont do anything...so i have to give him specific jobs to do (i usually pick the ones I dont want to do or that need to be done asap)

Re: May***Feb 8th-14th**

[QUOTE=Lanasmom;9532727]Okay, I need a list of things not to consume after lunch today so that I pass my 1 hour GD test on Wed. I don't know why I'm worried about it this time. Probably b/c I'm taking the whole day off work for the test and I know that if I fail it I will have to take another day off and days off = no pay when baby is born!

Is fruit and yogurt okay to eat? Ugg..I hate thinking about this stuff.

My doctor told me to watch carbs and sugar (including natural sugar, like fruit) for 24 hours before the test. He said no carbs or sugar is best, but at least eat them in moderation. Also, only a very light breakfast.

So, I'm almost 26 weeks now, up 17lbs as of this morning...14 weeks to go. Doesnt' seem too long now. I'm going to work on getting nursery set up and put together over the next week. My mom was saying i needed to stop buying things, b/c soon there won't be anything left for anyone else to buy me lol! Oh please, i can think of plenty of the little things i still need and a few bigger ticket items as well (single stroller and high chair for starters)..guess we will go register soon. I'm still pissed at target for discontinuing over half the items i wanted so i wont' even be sharing that registry with anyone. (and will only share the other one with those who want to know what they can get for the baby, i dont' expect people to go all out, this is our third in 4 years, but the first we have been local to family and many friends where i grew up lol!)
we're using a midwife with a naturopath. we need a naturopath for state law, which is why i've been bouncing back and forth!

Re: May***Feb 8th-14th**

I'm wiped out today. I think I got up to pee about 8 times last night!

Is anyone else having electric shock type pains in their bladder? It's not constant, it seems to happen when she moves, and I'm wondering if she's sitting on a nerve. I drank a bunch of water and cranberry juice (no sugar added) and I have yet to pee it all out, so I think I was dehydrated (again).

I have another appointment Thursday to recheck my cervix. 27 weeks tomorrow (according to LMP).

I have those bladder pains, but its b/c I drink so much water and the way the baby is sitting I cannot pee it out. I get up 6-7 times a night to pee. I'm just hurting all over in general. I think Logan is transverse right now and its not at all comfortable.

Not that I'm glad YOU are hurting, but I am glad to know it's "normal" to hurt everywhere. I feel like a weenie this pregnancy!

very cool Tiffanie!

amanda- I just declined it, not necc for me.

Others who were talking about potty time..yeah, i find if i sit down and pread my legs a little wider then typicall and lean forward a little, i can usually let out more then if i just sit down like normal...like i have to lift the baby off my bladder lol!...did you all get a great visual on that? lol!
