Anyone use a postpartum belly wrap?

Has anyone used with there other pregnancies a postpartum belly wrap or binder? I am thinking of buying either a belly bandit (http://www.bellybandit.com/) or a waist cincher (http://www.mommy-village.com/p_63858.html) for after delivery. With my last LO it felt like my insides were running all over and the only thing that made me feel ok was really tight jeans against my belly to hold it in ..
Is anyone else considering one or have used one? Would love to hear your experiences..TIA

Re: Anyone use a postpartum belly wrap?

I did w/ my last one (#3) and oh my gosh, how wonderful. I have had c/s so it helps even more b/c I really do feel like everything is going to fall out I went to a diff. hospital (much better one) last time and they did it as soon as they were done and the first time I went to get up it was so much easier. They did tell me to take it off every so often b/c you still want the chance for the muscles to build up on their own w/o depending on the binder. So I would wear it for a few hours, take off a few hourse, etc. I would say get one, they are great and I think it helped a bit w/ the pain of the uterus shrinking as well.

I hate that falling out feeling! I was going to order one too, but a lot of them look so stiff and uncomfy. How do you sit in one of those and nurse?

Re: Anyone use a postpartum belly wrap?

I just got a bamboo one and I love it! Very comfortable and super soft against my skin. I would totally recomend the belly bandit over another brand, it's comfort alone is worth the extra$$!

Re: Anyone use a postpartum belly wrap?

I used one and it helped my posture too! I would look around since there are so many options out there now! I had a "belly bandit"....

Re: Anyone use a postpartum belly wrap?

It is easy to nurse in b/c of where it lays, not like the belly support band at all
