Seems to be true in our case. DD is 6 and not into the same stuff as some of her school-aged peers. I consider it a great thing though. I would much rather her be into cartoons, dolls, and dress-up than Hannah Montana, boys, and that sort of thing. Not that those are a huge deal in and of themselves... just plenty of time for that later.
