Thanks for the tip! I am in Canada and we don't have Joanns but there is a Michaels quite close to me, so maybe I'll try to pick up some Patons there. Would one ball of trim and one ball of "main" colour be enough for a soaker? I am clueless

I was really shocked at how much less yarn knitting takes than crocheting!

Re: The Yarn on the Needles Goes Round and Round...

I am having a hard time with Asa's foot today and I keep crying.

He hasn't walked on it since he woke up.

He doesn't walk on it after he wakes up for about an hour, but today is worse than usual.

I feel like no doctors know what to do about it. I feel enraged. This is my CHILD. Why won't any of them help me help him?

I am on hold right now w/ his Ped to get a recommendation to Riley Chidlren's Hospital in Indy.

He's almost 3. You'd think by now SOMEONE would have SOMETHING to say that might be the answer...

I haven't even had two doctors tell me the same thing yet, and he's seen 6 of them.

Sorry to be so down. I just have a very heavy heart this morning.

Good morning all. I love checking this in the AM when I can actually read everything

I'm working on a pair of scrappies that's coming along nicely. I should have them done by tonight

I second Patons. They even have a few colorways. We all posted "first soaker" pics a while back and a LOT of mamas made their first ones using this same Patons yarn

I don't mean to butt in, but have you taken him to a podiatrist?

Lauren, can't wait to see what you dyed up.

Heather, how's the nursing going? Is the strike fully behind you?
still having some issues in the evening, but definitely getting better. She is back to nursing like a champ at night though.
