how hard is it to keep light-colored longies/shorties clean?

I wanted dark colors so I wouldn't have to worry about stains from DS crawling around, but I found a good deal on some light colored longies. Is it going to be impossible to keep them looking clean? If you keep yours looking nice, how do you do it?

Let me tell you, I got a pair of cream color wool longies today and she wore them at my sisters for awhile. She fed her lunch and now I have 2 orangy stains on them That was the only pair that was really soft too. I came home and worked on them and the stain is lighter but still there. That was dumb on my part to get that light of a color. BUT if you take them off during eating time it may not be as bad. HTH!

Its pretty hard... I have some wool wash bars though that I made that help alot, DS has a pair they look SUPER cute, but SOMEONE decided it would be a good idea to keep the trim white?! Really? I do this for a living why would I make them with white trim! They are pretty much always off white/black..

Wool Wash bars do WONDERS though.. you will probably need one with white..

Well they wouldn't be white they'd be light blue or mint with cream trim...but still light colors.
