My Mood:
School options

I know there are a lot of homeschool-ers here. I thought about it for awhile and finally decided it just wasn't for us. So we're going with a private Christian School this year for preschool (public is NOT an option in this area).

I guess I'm nervous because even though I really like the school and the people, it's not affiliated with our church (we don't have a school) or denomination (we're AME, it's a Luteran church). I'm sure I'm just nervous about DS being in 'school' now. I also don't share the experience - I didn't grow up in church and chose God for myself and son.

Anyone else go the parochial route? Are you happy with it?
