Re: Vasectomy side effects?

As far as I know at first some discomfort in general it seemed but nothing since. Hard to tell when your partner doesn't really talk to you. Long story for anything more.

Re: Vasectomy side effects?

DH had one and had pain after every single ejaculation. He has since had it reversed. Have you thought about natural family planning?

Re: Vasectomy side effects?

Dh had it done almost a year ago (the no scalpel method). No issues. No regrets.

Re: Vasectomy side effects?

Most men (at least 5) I've talked to say they had no lasting effects. No pain, sex feels the same, etc. My cousin in law had his testicle swell to astronomical proportions, but admitted he didn't take it easy the first few days after like he was supposed to. He acknowledged that that was his issue, lol.
My husband said that the procedure was a breeze, he relaxed for 3 days with frozen peas, and had barely any discomfort. He went back to work as then had some issues with pain and slight swelling, so when he got home he took it easy. Towards the end of the week he had a hard lump on one side, but doctor said it was just from leaking fluid and would go away. A week after the procedure he was fine. No problems at all!
