Re: Has anyone used a Baby safe feeder

We (and DS) liked ours! Great for teething (with frozen foods) and for getting the flavor from foods we otherwise would not have given him (Mostly because of time constraints--or laziness? in making them baby-safe). The one downside was definitely the cleaning, though. A toothbrush is a good idea!

We got one a few weeks ago and DS loves it! We've put frozen strawberries in it as well as banana. The banana was a nightmare to clean out of it though, so I'm not doing that again. DS had a blast eating it though. We have one of the actual Baby Safe Feeders, and the mesh bags come out for cleaning. I think they are great!

My first son didn't like it at all and I wrote it off as a bad purchase, but luckily I saved them and pulled them out on a whim for my second son. He loved it! He has a hard time holding food just yet so this worked really well for him. So far I've given him grapes and apples in them. I don't find it a real pain to clean. I turn the mesh bag inside out and rinse it off real well as soon as he's done with it, then I put it in the dishwasher. I think mine is a Munchkin brand.

My dd loved hers! So much in fact that I stocked up on them because they are hard to find. I have the Munchkin version, they are called mesh feeders. They are awesome! I would put frozen mango in it and dd would go to town on it! It was very soothing to her plus she was able to eat the fruit out of it long before she was ready for table foods!

I have two still in the package (2-pack) that is just sitting in my pantry. If you want it, I can trade it for something!
