Re: Best AIO for newborn?

We had good luck with the bG xs and the xs dried completely in one cycle for us.

I haven't used them yet but my vote is for the Nana's Bottoms. They are very similar to the VB but aren't as expensive.

Re: Best AIO for newborn?

I REALLY liked the XS BG AIOs. I only had one to begin with and got 4 more for my stash. It was my favorite diaper, that and the XS FB's. They didn't dry in one cycle for us but my drier doesn't work too well anyway...sometimes just regular inserts don't dry in one cycle and sometimes they do. go figure. But they worked great for us! And REALLY trim!! My dd is 11 weeks old and still can squeeze into them, but the small fits better now... got some of those b/c I liked the XS so well. And the XS FB's still fit her really well. These two were our favorite diapers and still are. I found they held everything in! I didn't try any of the other ones mentioned. After trying out MANY different types, I found that the more mainstream diapers worked the best for us. Oh, and we've used an XS Thirsties AIO once now and really liked it! I'd definitely try one of those too!
Good luck!

Re: Best AIO for newborn?

I haven't read all the posts, but with DD, a Snap-EZ AIO fit perfectly from the beginning. (She was 7-3 when we came home.) It fit under the cord, and everything. They're pricey, but if you keep an eye on Ruth's Dealz page, you can get some for good prices! www.snap-ez.com - go to "Shopping" then click on Dealz at the top of the page.

Also, I used small Magic-alls and small BG AIOs as soon as her cord stump fell off. I believe the sizing has changed on the MAs since then, and it looks like an xs would work better. They were both terrific! (I skipped the xs in BG and the smalls were just fine.)

I would recommend thirsties pocket aio or nana's bottoms aio's. They both are great!

Re: Best AIO for newborn?

I have 10 XS Very Baby AIOs so I hope I like them

I have had Very Baby AIOs in larger sizes in the past and they never took more than 1 dryer cycle for me.

I like the XS BG AIOs a lot, but they are the only ones we've tried. I'm hoping to try a Thirsties AIO soon.
