Problem with Basal Thermometer

My basal Thermometer doesn't say low battery. But the last 2 days I believe it has been reading my temps lower than it should. So just now in the middle of the day I took my temp and it said 98.3... when I took it in the middle of the day when I first got it, it always said 98.6.. but it is still close close.

I am also finding it harder to find the right spot to make it beep and collect the temp. But that has never been my strong suit.

Did anyone have this issue? Should I get a new one or just a new battery? Or could I really be 97.7 at 7 dpo when I expect it at least 98.2?

It's a Nexcare.

Re: Problem with Basal Thermometer

It finally gave me a low battery. I wanted to let people know if anyone has this issue. The low battery on the nextcare shows up instead of the normal display vrs in the corner somewhere. It also seems like it only displays when it doesn't have a temp memorized, so that would be first thing in the morning when I don't have the light on. When I'm actively looking at it, it didn't display the low battery. I found it by accident, when accidently pushing the button while unpacking.

Re: Problem with Basal Thermometer

I've been using the target basal therm and I like it. It's quick and its quiet. I haven't temped a rise yet though... I just had to put a mark on it so I have the correct direction when checking the temp and read quick!
