DH is asking me about disposable liners...

… and I don't know enough to answer.

He wanted to know what is the least expensive disposable alternative for cd'ing. We put DD in grovia for the first time this week (I've already tried cloth, he's not ready for it yet).

Suggestions?

ETA: "Liner" might be the wrong word. Insert is what I mean, but liner is used so interchangeably it seems.

Flip disposable inserts are $4.95 for 18 with free shipping. gdiapers flushies vary between $12-18 for 32-40 inserts. Grovia is $20 for 40 I think... Those are the 3 "big" hybrid brands. Amazon subscribe and save will get you a deal on gdiaper inserts!

Re: DH is asking me about disposable liners...

I got a batch of gdiaper m/l inserts from amazon mom subscribe and save- I use them sparingly so one batch (like 4 packages I think) will likely last me through PLing so I canceled the subscription. I shopped around and that was the best price at the time. And they work really GREAT! However, they are still more expensive than disposables (again through subscribe and save or shopping sales), so if you are CDing to save money I wouldn't recommend using them on a regular basis.

What do you mean he's not ready. I just want to know what you meant by that. Did you mean you husband it's ready?

I assume she means her husband isn't ready to try cloth on the baby yet.

Yeah, my husband isn't quite ready to do cloth full time. I think he is fine with the pee diapers, but having to "deal with" the poo… that's a little further down the road yet.

Thanks for the tips!
