Jo-Anns Fleece good enough for soakers?

So, Jo-Anns fabrics fleece is on sale currently, and I was going to buy some to make soakers/longies. But then thought I'd ask people in the know if the quality is good enough? Anybody use it? Happy with the performance?

Yes I like the anti pill fleece, personally.

yes, just make sure you use the anti-pill fleece and I'd also sew in a wetzone panel too!

Yep! If I use fleece it's the anti-pill from JoAnns, just double it up.

Re: Jo-Anns Fleece good enough for soakers?

My mom just called me today and told me the same thing ! She is going to make me some diapers from the RRP pattern (first time) I am having major issues finding a diaper to fit my ds who is almost 1 yo with 19 in rise, 21 in waist and 15 in thigh!! He was 20 lbs at 3 1/2 months! Still exclusively bf !

Anyway, does anyone know if she can use this fleece on the inside of the outer layer??? She bought some really cute choo choo train flannel for the outside of the dipe and we don't want to cover it with fleece to make AIO ?

I will appreicate any suggestions/comments as we are soo new and this is our first attempt to make a cloth diaper!!

Thanks!

She can but most likely there will be wicking onto the flannel.

I use all the fleece from there. Anti-pill or not. I've never had a problem. I always do an extra layer in the wet zone too
