How do you wash your Sunbaby diapers?

Please be as specific as possible, I want to make sure I am doing it just right! We make our own laundry soap but I am willing to go with Tide or something else if it is better for the diapers.

Thanks in advance!

Re: How do you wash your Sunbaby diapers?

I have sunbaby diapers. I wash them with the flats that I use as inserts. I start out with a prerinse, followed by a hot wash, a cold rinse and sometimes a extra rinse. I have started using Purex powder (almost a cup) and it is working great. I dried the diapers in the dryer the first couple of times that I got them on low heat. I usually wash diapers at night so that I can lay the pockets over the back of our two couches to dry during the night.

I have a bunch of Sunbaby diapers. I don't do a prerinse. I do a hot wash, cold rinse and extra cold rinse. I have hard water so I use up to the "2" line of a scoop of regular Tide powder for a full load of diapers (mixture of AIOs and pockets.) So far, no issues, no staining, no stink.
