Re: My dd just bit me hard. Anything I should do?

For sure put some breastmilk on it. I don't know for sure, but I think lanolin would probably help too and that's safe for bf'ing (as long as it's pure).

DD doesn't have teeth yet, but my sister said her DS bit her once and drew blood... not looking forward to that! Can you believe that some people pierce their nipples on PURPOSE??!?!

Re: My dd just bit me hard. Anything I should do?

My DS bites now and then too... in fact, he started really young (3 or so months, pre-teething, too). When he was really tiny, I'd just pull him off, but now that he has a couple of little teethies in there, I learned to push him into your boob. I know, sounds like you are going to suffocate them, but it's almost like you just squeeze them a little closer. So far, it works, and he won't bite the rest of that nursing session. Plus, if you pull your LO off while he or she is still biting - OUCH! With pushing them in first, they automatically kind of let go.

He also does it in his sleep sometimes... which always puzzles me!
