DS will be 3 in a few months and hadn't had a haircut. His hair is really curly so it doesn't look as long although it's like 9 inches. I don't see us getting it cut anytime within the next year.

Re: First haircut?

DD was a couple weeks shy of three. Cut it to get rid of her mullet before DH came home from a deployment. DS was on his 2nd birthday. His mullet grew in a year earlier than his sister's. Lol

Re: First haircut?

Ds was 2 and a half. He had super long hair and we just had to do it. He fought us so badly when it came time to wash and comb it. He's 5 now.

DD1 was 18 months. She is 3 now.

DD2 has only gotten her hair trimmed so far and she's over 2 years old - it took the child forever to grow some hair!

DD3 has only had her bangs trimmed back because for some reason they grow super fast while the rest of her hair is just starting to come in well. She's 16 months.

Re: First haircut?

dd was almost 2 and I trimmed the fuzz up front that was getting in her eyes. Otherwise, no cuts here. ds is only 5 mths but almost totally bald still. I don't imagine cutting his hair until it is getting in his eyes really bad or DH wants to cut it.

My DD was 26 months and DS was 7.5 months. Both were born with a head full of thick crazy hair.

Re: First haircut?

My DS is 4.5 and still hasn't had a hair cut. DH doesn't want it cut and neither does DS. I keep asking him if he wants to, but he keeps saying no.

My DD got a trim at 5 and her first (and only) real cut on her 6th birthday.

Re: First haircut?

11 months. He had thin, wispy blonde hair and it was starting to cover his ears, so it needed to go!

Re: First haircut?

My daughter was 18 months. My husband and I coincidentally both have lots of thick, heavy hair but my daughter didn't lose the wispy hair until 3 and it was tough to manage. My son (11 months) seems to have his "real" hair out of the gate, heavy curly, so I may not need to cut it until the ends need a bit of management. I want my boy to have long beautiful hair.

I'm hoping we can get away with DS having longer hair. That's the main reason I don't want to cut it. But I just new to get rid of the fuzz in the back, so maybe it'll back quickly and we can get a cute cut. He's going with me Saturday for his trim
