Smile First pair of shoes..

Baby Chloe is 13 months and has never worn shoes.. she will NOT wear socks. It occurred to me the other day that THE BABY HAS GOT TO GET SOME SHOES ON!! I know it's summer, but if we don't start sometime it will never happen! So, what do you recommend for a first pair of baby shoes for a walking 13 month old?
Thanks Mama's!!

Re: First pair of shoes..

my kids started out wearing soft shoes- shooshoos
Just last summer I got them their first pair of "regular" shoes from Stride Rite. It took them a couple days to learn how to walk in them. it was cute

My oldest started walking when it was winter so he mostly just wore soft soled shoes... When summer came he wore Stride Rites, thats all I put on him he has a weird fit....So there really helpful in finding the perfect shoe..

One idea might be to get some water sock type shoes. They are rubber bottoms but super flexible. I have a pair of these for dd for water or sand play! It will probably be enough to keep her feet safe but not bother her. Just an idea... Mine were $4 at target and they have even smaller ones at Walmart (but they had dora on them)
