vitamins while nursing

My ds has reflux and he's really sensitive to a lot of foods. I'm trying to figure out if any of my vitamin supplements are bothering him too. I take a prenatal vitamins, Salmon Oil, 1 RRL capsule and a vitamin B complex. I haven't been able to find any info that says these can be problems, but nothing says they aren't either. Does anyone know?

Are they rX prenatals?
Sometimes the high iron levels in rX prenatals can cause BF babies to spit up a lot more, it irritates their tummies. I know because that happened with DD and me earlier on... she is 9 mo and occasionally spits up but not nearly as much as she used to!
Switching to a "natural" prenatal vitamin, or even just a different brand might help. What I did was take one every other day instead of every day at the recommendation of my doc.
Also, I have a blood clotting disorder and have to take B vitamins (I take b12, b6, and the whole shebang in a b complex vitamin) and it is just fine according to my docs (even the specialist says its OK)

the salmon (omega 3's right?) is GOOD to take too

I don't know what RRL is though, no idea!

Re: vitamins while nursing

Thanks for the help!

I just responded in a different thread that my family has been terribly sick for a few days and I've forgotten to take my vitamins, but DS has been a completely different baby. But it may also be that I haven't hardly had time to eat, so maybe it was something I was eating that was bothering him, or maybe it's the amber teething necklace I put on him. In any case, he's doing better now. I'll just have to do some testing to see if I can figure out what it was that was bothering him so badly.

Oh wow! I hope you do get it figured out.
I can't remember what exactly it was about the rX prenatals - I'm pretty sure it was the iron that passes through the breastmilk because they put so much of it in rX prenatals. And I remember reading something about sodium levels in rX prenatals. Weird, I wish my computer didn't crash last month so I'd still have those links
