Nursing while pregnant

Anyone have any helpful advice? I have nursed while pregnant before, but wasn't so worried because nursling was a little over a year old. Baby is 8 months old and refuses baby food, solid food, table food, etc.

I read fenugreek and blessed thistle aren't safe to take during pregnancy for milk supply.

There is a tea (mothers milk?) that I *believe* is safe during pregnancy. You can contact you local LLL and they may be able to help. In the pregnancy section I think there may be a thread about breast feeding during pregnancy.

More Milk Too has helped some people. I found some increase in my supply with it. With a nursling that young, I would try pushing the solids more and considering a breastmilk alternative (donor milk, formula, etc.)

I got pregnant with DS4 when DS3 was 5 months old, and EBF. We started solids (BLW) at 6-7 months, but also still nursed on demand throughout my entire pregnancy. My supply was fine until 20-something weeks, when it started decreasing a bit... at that point, I started taking More Milk Two, and my supply quickly went back to normal. It tastes awful, but it's worth it . I only had to take it for 6 weeks. After that, my supply stayed fairly high. I'm now tandem nursing my 15m old and 8 day old .

Thanks ! It's called More Milk Two, made by Motherlove. It was a liquid... I couldn't stand the taste alone, so I mixed each dose with an ounce of OJ. Although, the directions say not to drink anything 20 mins before and after taking it. I couldn't find any capsules.
