Handwriting Without Tears

I'm looking for a good way to teach handwriting to my kindergartener. Up until now I've been using books from the dollar store where he does tracing and copying. I also get him to copy his name. Just wondering if I use a curriculum like this if it would help him improve.
Does anyone have experience using this curriculum? Did you like it? Also at what age did you start using this?

I have it but didn't love. We used and continue to use A Reason for Handwriting. We love it. Easy, straightforward and very basic. I like the way the letters are written. My first grader has awesome handwriting and my kindergartener is really coming along quickly.

I know this was from a while ago but how much does this curriculum go for approximately? I'm looking into writing and spelling curriculums as we approach grade 1 but things add up fast.

cbd.com has Reason for Handwriting priced at about $15 or less, I think. It's not very expensive. It is the program we used, as well, and we really liked it.

Re: Handwriting Without Tears

We use Handwriting Without Tears and my daughter likes this better than other workbooks she tried because it doesn't seem as repetitive. So if your child balks at writing the same letter 10 times in a row, this is a good alternative in my opinion.
