Re: favorite kitchen appliance

Oh and my husband would say the Joule for sous vide which I have to say I'm a fan of whatever gets cooked that way. It's amazing!

I've been using my Kitchen Aid more often. I'm starting to see why people like it so much.

Re: favorite kitchen appliance

Toss up between the rice cooker....we make rice ALL the time...and the blender. My kids have been on a smoothie kick and I have been using it almost daily to make shakes and smoothies. Hate cleaning it but LOVE to use it.

Love our rice cooker. Apparently we eat lots of Jasmine rice.

I replaced my blender and I've used it once since. I just can't get into the smoothie making.

I buy stuff to make smoothies and then I just don't. I don't know why? I can't get into the habit.

I do the same. I'm hoping something will click and I'll just get used to it and then I don't. I like the idea of getting more veggies/fruit and protein in but I just don't do it.

I like to put spinach, yogurt, and a fruit/veg mix in a freezer safe baggy and make "smoothie packs" so all I have to do is pour it into the blender add liquid and whatever else I want at the moment. It takes way less time and effort. I froze a bunch of yogurt in an ice cube tray so it was portioned out and just popped 2 cubes into each pack.

I know this thread is totally not about smoothies but saw this so thought Id share.
