It's a puffy thicker pancake in a skillet that poofs up a bit. Called Dutch baby (bunny is our addition to the name.)

I love the crust things form in an iron skillet.

I'm actually going to keep posting breakasts I end up making in case anyone needs ideas. Feel free to share.

Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal modified. Added flax seed to oatmeal. Kids ended up using no added sugar besides the topping so less than they try to pile on.

That looks very similiar. I wonder if our recipe is a take off of that?

I'm thinking millet and rice flour might make it heartier.

French toast today with day old bread from yesterday. Had some of the oatmeal topping left so drizzled that on. No protein 😕. In hindsight I could have toasted some nuts mixed it with topping and spooned that on too.

I sometimes do a baked apple pecan oatmeal. We put milk on it and love it!

That looks delicious. I'm going to give that one a try this week.

Re: Breakfast for 6

I forgot to report I tried for myself a sweet potato "oatmeal"

Similar to this:
http://pin.it/9PnFAE6

Basically you use sweet potato as the "oats" and use your usual oatmeal toppings etc. mixed in.

I'm not sure it was my thing because I like my sweet potatoes plain but maybe someone might find it works for them.

Thanks KatMay for this recipe. I made a modified recipe using regular oats, blueberries and flax seed. A really big hit. They are currently scarfing it down. Adding it to my list to repeat.

For myself I made an overnight oatmeal in a Msson jar. I think I would have liked it better in the summer. Just donate like cold breakfast in the winter.
