DH is on his way...

to get a pregnancy test. I'm not ready for another baby But if I'm pregnant...I'll get ready.lol.

I've been having horrible headaches, stomach aches, and nauseous. We had an oops last month with a broken condom but it was the day after my last fertile day. I thought I'd be okay. Now I'm worried.

Just needed to vent.

It was negative. He got home right when I posted. I swear those 3 minutes feel like an hour.

I'm just worried about what's causing my symptoms now. I have no health insurance

Are you sure you should have taken a test already? Maybe it's too early for a positive on a test. Not trying to freak you out, I'm just saying.

Well it was like 3-4 weeks ago that the condom breaking incident happened. I had a regular period a little over a week ago (but I know a few people that had reg. periods when pregnant). I would imagine it would have showed up. I could test again in a week or so just to be sure.

It's possible you had a chemical pregnancy. I had that happen to me. I felt pregnant, but then got my period. Even after my period I felt pregnant though and took a test and it was barely positive. I went to the doc and he said it was likely a chemical pregnancy/very very early miscarriage. My symptoms lingered for a couple weeks after my period. It was about two weeks before my hcg levels were back to normal as well. Dr. had them tested just to be sure of what was going on and they were elevated, but dropped over the three day period between tests.

What is a "chemical pregnancy"?? I have never heard this term before.

Re: DH is on his way...

Chemical Pregnancy : "A chemical pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg does not implant into the uterine wall. If a pregnancy test is taken just at the right time it will be positive, however, when a repeat test is taken several days later it will be negative. A chemical pregnancy leaves the couple to cope with the difficult news of thinking they were pregnant when in reality they are miscarrying. However, majority of women who have a chemical pregnancy never know they are pregnant before they miscarry and begin what they think is their normal menstrual cycle."
