Re: Cloth Diaper Stash?

I have given in and bought some too. I plan to use disposables for the first month or two to make post partum easier on me, I do laundry for as it is now, which i will put on my registry. I have big babies, or I did the last two times I am expecting this one to be about 9.5lbs at birth. I bought 8 BG freetime, 2 of which are blue so I may have jinxed the baby into being a girl lol. I am going to wait until after the move and get some more. i am thinking about 20 dipes total since we will likely use sposies some too. I found that the hook and loop were on sale so I got 6 hook and loop freetime, one snap that was a second and used a free diaper code for another snap freetime and got 8 diapers plus 4 doublers for 100$ shipped. I went to buy buy baby and saw all the cloth wonder and glory and about flipped lol! So then I bought some diapers a week later online.

Re: Cloth Diaper Stash?

I cloth diapered my 1st with Fuzzibunz (he grew out of those quickly so I passed them on to slimmer babies) and BG 4.0s until he was potty trained. We started off with a diaper service (prefolds/covers) up until 5 months but daycare couldn't get comfortable with that, hence we switched to pockets. Now that I'm pregnant with #2, I've built up my prefold/cover stash for the first 3 months and then will switch to the other system when he starts daycare.

Re: Cloth Diaper Stash?

i haven't started building our stash yet. This is #4 and #4 to be in cloth. i should dump all ours and start over, but who can afford that? i've gotten rid of a lot of diapers that aren't holding up anymore. i plan to only replace with GoodMamas. I'm on a FB selling site and sometimes can find them for cheap. They hold up, are adorable and easy. I do need more covers, though.
