Bumgenius are too small......HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my 2 yr.old dd (32 lbs)has outgrown her bg2.0 os , i love everthing about these diapers. i bought some large fb(loved the fleece!) & just dont care for the fit. i have some drybees, & hh, but just love the fit & quality of my bg. i emailed cottonbabies to ask if they could custom make me some larger dipes & they told me they don't do that. so can any mamas out there help me w/ help finding a dipe that is like my bg, but bigger? love fleece so suedcloth is'nt a factor.

In terms of fit, I think Baby Kangas are similar, but they have a snap closure rather than a velcro closure. And Komfy Kidz are similar too, but hard to come by.

Pampered Cheeks are nice also... fit similarly to BG and she's super sweet! Her diapers are OS and less expensive than BG or other "mainstream" brands... she made a custom for me and it was in my hands within 5 days (my first email to the item being in my hands).

I'd recommend taking your DD's measurements and comparing them to other OS diapers to see if she'd fit into certain brands, etc.

I'm sorry if this isn't any help... my DD is 4.5 months old, almost 17 lbs. and 26" long.

Re: Bumgenius are too small......HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I realize it's a little odd for someone to be commenting without having tried any of the products in question (I've used BG AIO's, but not their pockets), but I'm wondering if part of what you like about the BumGenius might be that the leg elastic is sewn with a casing, unlike on the Happy Heinys or Drybees, making the overall fit less poofy, and allowing less opportunity for the inserts to bunch up.

In that case, you might look at something like a large Blueberry pocket diaper. I haven't actually tried one of these myself, so I can't comment on how the size compares to the BumGenius!, but perhaps someone else has input on this.
