Would anyone do a sock KAL?

I was thinking I've seen a lot of mamas talk about wanting to knit themselves a pair of socks. I was wondering if anyone would want to do a sock KAL? We could set the start date out 3 weeks so everyone would have time to get yarn and needles. We could all do the same pattern and help each other with any questions. This would be great for first time sock knitters. We would also motivate each other to finish both

I was thinking of these sock patterns:
Worsted weight- http://www.theirishewe.com/mt-static..._socks_1.shtml
sock yarn- http://www.savefile.com/files/1484641 (you'll have to download pattern)
Worsted weight- http://www.socknitters.com/PATTERNS/basicsox.htm

LMK if their is any interest and if so you can suggest easy, free sock patterns and then we can vote

Re: Would anyone do a sock KAL?

I just started my first pair using "Silver's Sock Class"

They aren't fancy, but so far they look like socks!

I would love one but I won`t be able to really focus on socks until I get all these customs done

I'm up for it!! I bought flippin size 3 DPN's though and now I cant find a size 3 DPN sock pattern to save my life! I may just use this cotton worsted weight I have on hand though and get me some other DPN's! I like that first pattern you posted.

Hey, I didn't say they're done, I'm still finishing them. I think I'll have them done tomorrow, though. Assuming this cold hasn't killed me by then.

Re: Would anyone do a sock KAL?

I have a ton of sock yarn...I'm fairly new to knitting, but I'd be up for the challenge! I'll just need to order some smaller sized dpn's
