Re: What do you wish you knew then? CDing a newborn *update post #269*

I did a ton of research and I'm proud to say I've found a winning nb stash. I have even recommended it to friends with similar feedback.
Here's the list:
GMD pre folds in newborn and small 24-36 each, depending on how often you want to do laundry i.e. Every 1-3 days
Snappi. You really only need one but have a backup in case it gets lost.
Thirsties covers in size 1. Three should be plenty but more if you want backup for poo blowouts.
That's it! For smaller babies or before the cord falls off, the sized Thirsties cover in smallest size did fit a little trimmer and I also like the Bummis whisper super wrap but they are only avail in Velcro which isn't a big deal for nb because you aren't using them for that long and nb don't pull their diapers off. Otherwise I would stick with snaps for longevity reasons and to avoid the dreaded diaper train in the washer/dryer.

Ooh, that's a good idea! Someone should do that. Probably not you, though.

Here you go: newborn diapering needs are unpredictable, what doesn't work for one will be perfect for another, everything is cute, and people like you and I who decide on a diaper stash before deciding on a name for the child have a series problem!

Lol thank you - I feel like I completely understand now. And am good to go, obviously. Now for a name...
