Cloth diapering a newborn - has anyone used pockets - which ones?

We use pockets on our LO. Specifically, Blueberry side snap pockets with micro/hemp inserts. We didn't start cloth diapering her until she was about 3 months. ? for the who have cloth diapered a newborn - did any of you use pocket dipes - if yes, which ones and why was that you pick? Thanks

I have used BG 3.0s on my 5 month old since she was born. They were a bit big on her in the beginning, and I was using prefolds a little too. I picked them because with my twins I had used Fuzzibunz and didn't want to have to buy different sizes again so I tried the OS and it has worked out great.

Diaper Change pockets in small fit a newborn unlike anything else. the prints are fun but the solid PUL is bulletproof, amazing quality and very affordable.

On my youngest we cd'd since birth and used a mix of my pockets and FBs smalls, he was just over 10 pounds at birth though and just a squeak under when he came home so not too small.

We haven't used them yet, but we bought 13 small Huggabuns to use on our newborn. I've heard SO many great things about HUggabuns, and the mama has stellar CS, not to mention they're substantially cheaper than something comparable, like Fuzzi Bunz.

We used BG3.0's on our two week old (after his cord stump fell off) and the fit really well. I preferred fitteds on him during the day but we used the pockets for going out and overnight.

We used the nb Dimple Cheeks from Day 1 and they fit like a charm. Once DD reached 9 pounds she was able to fit into her small GADs though they were a little bulky. The Dimple Cheeks were such a nice fit though.

BGs and HHOS leaked on my guy for a long time, but XS FBs were awesome from day 1. They even fit under the cord stump and were trim enough that the edge didn't rub his cord when he curled up his legs. In fact XS FBs were about the only thing in my newborn stash that didn't touch his cord when he curled up into a ball; I was wishing I had two dozen!!!

My best friend used xs FB's on her peanut. I think he was around 6 lbs. She was very happy with them.
