I have never heard of an adult having it. All my children had it as infants, it's a high fever (like 103 or higher), achy, tired, and generally uncomfortable. That lasted for a couple days then when they started feeling better a rash broke out over the neck, torso and face. I have wondered if it's one of those one time childhood illnesses cause none of mine have had it a second time. Did you DH have it as an infant? What are his symptoms?

Jake had all classic symptoms again. His rash is almost gone. Dh didn't have as child but had fever then very achy & rash on body. He has a headache as well going on 24 hrs. It's occular. Told him if headache persists til tomorrow he has to go see dr. Don't want it to get out of hand.

Good Luck with the roseola. I had it as a kid and have never seen it in an adult. I think it must be rare, which is good since it has to miserable. Hope they both feel better soon.

I think that's true about not getting it again. My daughter had classic symptoms at 15 months, my son's never had it. I've seen posts about it on a local group, too, so maybe it's going around right now?

I've never seen it in an adult either! DD2 had it last winter, but no one else. Hope they feel better soon!

I've read it could happen more than once but not common. Both are getting better.

Does your ds have a lowered immunity? My friend has a daughter with lowered immunity that they struggle with and she has had chicken pox twice even after being immunized. That just stuck out to me since its supposed to be a one time thing too. That is weird that your DH has it. my kids have never had it and my oldest is 9. But i've never heard of an adult having it either. Hope he gets better quickly!

I passed my 1 hour GD test but my iron level is really low. It's at 8 and the DR wants it to be at 11.10 so I have to start taking supplements 2x a day
