Weekend edition: 2/25-2/26

I have nothing say. Just read the past couple days of my comments and all that's the same.

All this first tri stuff is getting me down a little... The physical part is fine. It's the mental side of things. I just want to be able to confident about this pregnancy. I'm tired of being paranoid. Gah... so maybe let's chat a little about something to remind us about why we;re going through all this... maybe names? We had names already picked out prior while TTC... Eliza (after my great grandmother Eliza Ruby) and Ramon (after my husband's grandfather). But now I kind of like Lucia Eliza more... just because it's pretty. And Pedro for a boy (Peter is a common name in my maternal family). I bet we switch around a few more times. The good news is we agree on names really easily. What about you guys?

I love name discussions We're thinking Silas for a boy and Mae for a girl. My DH really loves Mae and wanted to name DD that, but we didn't so this time around he really wants it if it's a girl. Just hard to come up with a middle name that goes well with it because it's so short and everything sounds weird!

I love the name Mae!! It's so sweet. I like it with E names like Elise or Elizabeth. But I think that's because I like the way it sounds with your daughter's name. Evelyn and Mae just sound soo cute together!

And I've seen Silas a few times online but I've never heard it in real life... how do you pronounce it? I always read it as See-las but I'm probably wrong.

Re: Weekend edition: 2/25-2/27

We havn't gotten too much into name discussions. DS is named after his dad, we just call him Will so he know's who I'm talking to. DD name we just liked....and we got it out of a baby book....our last name is Scottish so we thought she needed a Scottish first name...did I mentioned we just liked it? Isla (we pronounce it the s is silent....even though I also like the spanish pronounciation...it's a little softer and prettier) I also like it's an old fashioned name....but not a ton of people around here have it.

We had thought maybe Isabelle if a girl......since we have one "I" girl in the house! But I'm not sure aboud that since its sort of popular....but there's a lot more Isabella's than Isabelle's

No idea for a boy LOL!

I wasn't going to get serious til we find out gender.

I kinda want a girl.....just think since my current youngest is a girl it would be so great to see her play with a sister....not that Will wouldn't love to be a big brother to a brother.

We won't tell the kids til we want everyone to know.....cause the 5 year old doesn't keep secrets very well.

We have names picked for boy or girl and they both start with A. We are keeping them a secret though. We will probably drive our family nuts because we are also team green.

Actually getting out of the house today for something besides appts or church. I'm pretty excited about this. I am a pampered chef consultant and this is my first show in 3 months. Took some time off around the holidays and just now getting back into it. Welp, I need to start getting ready for that. I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

We're planning on using "J" names, since I'm Jess and DH is Jeff. We like Joy, Jane, June, and Julia for girls and Joel, James, and Judah for boys. My tops picks are Joel or Joy, and I think it might be a Joel in there :-)

Our boy name is Jacob Paul and if its a girl we are in trouble. We have had such a hard time picking girl names. All three start with "S" so I would like to keep that up. I LOVE the name Sarah and it goes with the "S" theme but unfortunately its our dog's name

We have a really hard time with girl names too. We have only loosely kicked some names around but so far we're considering

Boy: Micah, Malachi, Ephraim, Israel, Elijah, Jeremiah, Jude, Judah

Girl: Isabella is all we got, and we arent even close to sold on it. He just likes ugly girl names :/ lol. I like Madeleine, Emma, and other pretty pretty names. We'll see.

The kids thing we should name it Smitty Wurbenmenjensen.

I forgot to say DH wants to call her Bella and when I point out that it's too much like twilight he just laughs at me. Sigh. This will be a long process

Re: Weekend edition: 2/25-2/27

Well our boy name is a done deal...States Rights IV. My DH is from the south & they obviously came up with some strange names in the south. But part of the deal for #2 was that if it was a boy he would be named after DH this time. I was totally against it the first time around & obviously I won. I'm ok with it this time though. I'm just glad to be expecting!
For a girl, we have tentatively chosen Mason Caroline, which I'm pretty sure will stick. I told DH that if I get no say in the boys name then he gets no say in the girls name.

Well we're off to shop for DD's prom dress! Please pray for me as I can only imagine how difficult this is going to be. It is getting harder & harder find modest attire for teenage girls & from what I've already seen, prom dresses are the worst. Most of them look like costumes off of DWTS! So please pray that God will have mercy on my poor nerves & we will find the perfect dress without any major disagreements!
