NEW TO CD

Hey Yall !! I am new to the group and thread. I live in Gastonia NC . My daughter Skyler Grace was born 11/11/2016 . I also have a 2 year old and a 5 year old boy. I am trying to get CD for my angel. Her little bum stays redish and nurses told me about CD. We use a paste and a no sting barrier and nothing seems to work so this is our only option.

Re: NEW TO CD

I'm new to CD too, though my baby is now 8 months.
Congrats on your new addition!! I think you will likely learn to love it, as I did!

Re: NEW TO CD

CD take a bit of a learning curve but as a veteran CD mom of 4 kids I can give help and guidance.

1. Dont get caught up in the hype. Sometime expensive doesn't mean better. I spent 300.00 on some AIO and they were the crappiest things i ever used. Within a month they were leaking and i went back to my old trusty CD that cost me about 5.00 a diaper and almost 9 years later i am still using some of the same diapers.

2. Cornstarch baby powder will be your best friend especially in the warmer months.

3. I wish someone would design a diaper bag for CD moms. All of them are to small if your going anywhere for any length of time.

I have so much more to say but duty calls.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY !!!!!!!
