Re: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction sucks!
I had it with my last pregnancy, but not really with this one so far.
My birth was super painful and sometimes I wonder if that had something to do with it. And after the birth I think I had a broken tailbone for several months. sorry for anyone who has to endure this!

Re: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction sucks!
Hmmm... I"m not sure what that is like, but I feel like my tailbone is super bruised and my varicose veins extend up into my nether regions... making things feel pretty nasty there too! I'm so ready to be done!

Re: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction sucks!
Crashing here, but wanted to say that I had that (albeit nearer the end of the pregnancy) and saw a chiropractor that specializes in pregnant women. After the first visit it was noticeably better and by the third I had no more pelvic pain. Try to find a chiro who also does the Webster technique.

Re: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction sucks!
Varicose veins are cause mostly by hip misalignment. A couple chiro visit and they with ease up!

I've been seeing my chiro regularly throughout my pregnancy and it hasn't helped a bit. Varicose veins are also hereditary, and my Mom has horrible ones.

Yuck. Sounds a lot like SI Joint Dysfunction, which is what I have
Today has been a hard day. I'm stuck on the couch alternating heat and ice. No housework is getting done, I've manged to put a meal in the slow cooker and homeschool was short and to the point with the promise of LOTS of book reading after naps.

I did say mostly, if you are predisposed to them nothing will help.

Re: Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction sucks!
Heard! I had it mildly last pregnancy but HORRENDOUSLY this pregnancy- to the point where it is difficult to keep my legs from sliding sideways out from under me. Heading to the chiro on Friday and hoping getting my hips and spine aligned helps in general, including the SPD.
